The 34th International Transplant Nurses Society (ITNS) Annual Symposium is scheduled to take place from September 25–27, 2026, in the vibrant city of Cleveland, Ohio.  At the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland, convenience is key and strives to anticipate your needs when visiting the Center. Objectives

At the conclusion of this course, learners should be able to:

  • Identify the key disciplines involved in transplant care for patients and explain how each discipline contributes to the optimal outcome for the patient.
  • Explore emerging strategies and technologies that multidisciplinary teams can adopt to enhance personalized approaches and improve patient outcomes.
  • Evaluate best practices for multi-disciplinary collaboration to enhance outcomes for long-term transplant recipient success.
  • List the challenges and opportunities encountered by transplant nurses in all phases of care and across a variety of healthcare systems.
  • Discuss emerging therapies to mitigate post-transplant complications.
  • Examine the technological advances that impact organ donation, improve organ utilization, and advance graft survival.
  • Identify the impact that emerging pharmacological treatments have on post-transplant care.

Registration Policies

On-site registration will be allowed as space permits. All on-site registrants must use their own device to submit their registration and payment by credit card via CE Portal (cash/check not accepted).

Registration through CE Portal is required even if attendance is free-of-charge.

Special needs, such as dietary restrictions, lactation room, etc., should be requested in advance. These requests cannot always be honored on site.

Cancellation Policy: In the event you need to cancel your registration, 50% of the registration fee will be refunded if you notify us by 4:30 p.m. Central Time 9/21/26. No refunds will be made after this date.

Accreditation

In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by University of Minnesota, Interprofessional Continuing Education and the International Transplant Nurses Society (ITNS). University of Minnesota, Interprofessional Continuing Education is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
